Bruno Bogaz Zarpelão received his B.S. degree in Computer Science (2004) from State University of Londrina, Brazil, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (2010) from University of Campinas, Brazil. In 2009, he stayed 6 months as a visiting Ph.D. student at Next Generation Networks and Applications Group (NetGNA), University of Beira Interior, Portugal. From March 2018 to Feb 2019, he was a visiting postdoctoral researcher at City, University of London. He is an associate professor at the Computer Science Department of the State University of Londrina (UEL), Brazil, which he joined in 2012. Besides, he is one of the coordinators of the Security Management and Quantification Research Group (SEC-MQ). His research interests include Security Analytics, Intrusion Detection, Distributed Ledger Technologies, and Internet of Things.
