I am a Courant Instructor at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University.

I came to Courant since 2014 and spent the academic year 2015-2016 visiting NYU Shanghai. Before that I obtained MSc. (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) degrees in Applied Math at Brown University. I obtained a BSc in Physics at Fudan University, Shanghai in 2009.

My research interests are probability theory and mathematical physics, in particular the macroscopic behavior and geometry of random systems. I have been working on topics including spanning trees, gradient random fields, lattice spin models, Coulomb gas, Kosterlitz-Thouless transitions, Bernoulli and first passage percolations; using tools from random walks, percolation, concentration of measure and large deviations. Some of the work also find their applications in computer science or biological sciences.
