Tattooed for Life - Update

It has been over a month since I last posted in this blog. Time flies when you are having fun. I am 34 chapters (30,000 words) into my latest story and having a great time writing the story. It didn't start out to be a romance, but the muse drug me kicking and screaming in that direction. I'm actually happy it turned out this way.

I just finished my second draft. It has several hooks and a couple of twists that I'm hoping will keep the reader turning the pages. Several members of our North Georgia Writers Group have read the first eight chapters and they want more. Prior to this story, I always said Justin Seaborne was my favorite character. Perhaps I am overly biased, but Chase and Kat Demur have taken the lead and aren't slowing down. And, my favorite antagonist was Mr. Smith from The Omega Factor. Now, he has taken a back seat to Mr. Zhou.

I suppose this is another reason why I write. It is all about the characters and the hold they have on my life. Oh well, it's a curse I'm willing to live with. .
