I saw the movie, PANIC, yesterday. It is a small budget movie, filmed in 2000, that I hadn't heard anything about. I liked several of the actors, so I gave it a try. The story was very interesting. There was an unexpected twist in the middle that propelled the movie forward and kept me wondering until the end.

Here is the write up on the movie. "Alex (William H. Macy) is going through a midlife crisis and it has become a very difficult time for him. His marriage is struggling, he's worried about his son, and his job of killing people for his family has become the most stressful part of his life. He seeks the help of a therapist and meets a woman in the waiting room that he connects with."

To say any more about the plot would spoil it. The movie has an excellent cast including William H. Macy, Donald Sutherland, John Ritter, Tracy Ullman, Barbara Bain and Neve Campbell.

There is a little violence and language, but nothing gratuitous. The sexual tension was PG at best.

I give this film 4½ stars out of 5.
