An article entitled, "Why Lawyers Need “Smart” Checklists & Integrated Forms: Quality, Cost Savings, Ethics, and Malpractice Prevention," which was published by the New York Law Journal (Aug. 9, 2013, page 4), is also available as a download below.  This article discusses how lawyers can enhance checklists and thereby increase their productivity and avoid malpractice.  A second article, entitled "Smart Checklists & The Future Of Real Estate Law Practice," 28 Prob. & Prop. at 34-37 (ABA January/February 2014), which is also available as a download below, discusses the use of "smart" checklists in real estate matters, and recommends substantial changes in real estate practice accordingly.
