All of the following are CDs except where noted (the images should make things fairly obvious when it's a cassette).

  • JOHN COLTRANE: The Definitive John Coletrane (Ken Burns Jazz) (Verve, 549 083-2, 2000) With sticker on plastic case stating that this is music from Ken Burns Jazz-The Definitive History of Jazz series. M/M £5
  • JON DALTON: The Gift (Dit Da Communications, DDC111165, 2003) Exemplary guitar-playing from one of Bristol's finest exports. He learned well from legends, such as the late, great Frank Evans. M/M £5
  • JOHN ETHERIDGE: I Didn't Know (AUTOGRAPHED) (Dyad, DY 024, 2005) Solo guitar from the Soft Machine guitarist and occasional Jake Thackray accompanist M/M £10
  • HERBIE HANCOCK: Cantaloupe Island (Blue Note, 8 29331 2, 1994) A fairly bad dink and a crease along the right-hand edge makes the inlay an instant VG-. Disc M £3
  • CAROL KIDD: All My Tomorrows (Hybrid Multichannel SACD, Linn, AKD 210, 2004) Great CD from Terry Waite 's favourite female jazz singer (even Frank Sinatra was a fan). This is the Hybrid SACD version from 2004, which sold out its one and only pressing run obscenely quickly! This is only nowadays available as a download - I think that Linn Records are missing a trick here...this constantly sells out each time a new CD version is issued, hence the big price tag for this, the rarest version of the CD by far. M/M £55
  • ROB LAVERS QUARTET: Stretch (Private release, RLM 1, 2005) Light side-dinks, so inlay EX. Disc M £5
  • THELONIUS MONK: Straight, No Chaser (Columbia/Legacy/Jazz, CK 64886, 1996) Includes 25 minutes of previously unreleased music, including previously edited-out portions of music. M/M £3

(Symbol, SR20050501, 2005) Includes The Enid's old bassist, Terry Pack, on double bass and Francis Knight (known for her work with Hugh Hopper and Elton Dean) on piano and accordian. There is a promotional stamp on the inlay with number of the promotional disc written inside (33). M/M £15
  • LOUIS SCLAVIS SEPTET: Chamber Music (Ida, IDA 022 CD, probably 1990) Some light dinks so inlay VG. Disc M £5

  • ZAPP! STRING QUARTET: Dextro (Lop Lop Productions, LLR 007, 2001) Digipak with inlay booklet. EX/M £5
  • VARIOUS ARTISTS: Warner Bros. Jazz Sampler (Jazziz/WB, PRO-CD-8642, 1997) Exclusive US "Jazziz magazine preferred membership club CD" - which, as far as I can tell, is a CD that wasn't routinely given away as a cover-disc, but which was part of a membership subscription only offer. There is only a single sheet inlay and no rear inlay - the track details are printed directly to the CD. EX/M £5
  • VARIOUS ARTISTS: JAZZIZ Presents Percussion on Fire (Jazziz On-Disc, JZD0297, 1997) US Jazziz cover disc from the February 1997 edition of the magazine. This is the disc only - no inlay is available - see tracklisting here. £2
