What is Korfball?

Korfball is a fast-paced mixed-sex team originating in the Netherlands that is commonly compared to Netball and Basketball. One major difference - it is one of the only truly mixed sports in the world!

Korfball encourages teamwork and co-operation. It is a great way to meet new people, and because it is a mixed gender game it is perfect for couples who would like to play sport together.

We play seriously, but are primarily a friendly and inclusive club, open to all, no matter what your sporting background. Our club is made up of players of all levels ranging from those who have played for years right down to those who started just a couple of weeks ago.

The best way to find out more is to try it for yourself. New members get two FREE sessions to try it out to see if you like it. For more information email bristolcitykorfball@gmail.com

This video is a great introduction to the rules of Korfball (although the pivoting rule isn't completely accurate!). For the complete rules, please check out the links at the bottom of this page.
