Child Parent Relationship Therapy

This 10-session programme* is designed especially to enable you to communicate effectively with your child/ren.  By the end of the programme, you will have skills to speak and understand your child’s ‘language’  -  the language of play.  Play in families is a key part of bonding and closeness  - having fun together. Many parents, or those caring for a child, find play feels blocked for 101 reasons.   Child-Parent Relationship Therapy can help release these blocks and help you to have fun with your baby, child/ren, or a child for whom you are carer or guardian.

As parents, we can become familiar with conversations that begin with, ‘How was your day at school, sweetie?’ and end with ‘Fine’.  These are frustrating, disappointing and tell you nothing.  By acquiring the skills and understanding taught and practised on this course, you can reduce or avoid  the costs of one-to-one therapy.

There are still some places available on this course running in Church Stretton, 7-9 pm starting 20 April 2015. Email us for further details.
