Assessments

What is an ’Assessment’?
A Therapeutic  ‘Assessment’ is when a therapist meets with you and/or other people, to work out:
● what you feel the difficulties are;
● how you want things to be different;
● a forward plan.

An adult, or a child (with or without a medical diagnosis), can be referred for an Assessment or for Counselling/Play Therapy with  Bridge Play Therapy & Counselling Services.

How long does it take?
Some  ‘Assessments’, particularly for adults, consist of only one or two meetings;  for children, there can be up to six sessions, and usually involve meeting with other people such as parents.
