I am an anthropological archaeologist interested in prehistoric hunter-gatherer adaptation. I have conducted research throughout the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains, examining questions of mobility, settlement, technology, spatial patterning, and social organization. My interests lie in understanding human behavioral adaptation to long and short term changes in environments and ecosystems. I am also interested in environmental sociology, issues of environmental justice, and cultural and environmental preservation.
I serve as an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Sociology at Rogers State University, where I teach a variety of anthropology, sociology, and research methods courses.
