About Our Family

We first fell in love with the Ragdoll breed in New Orleans, Louisiana in  1984 during the World's Fair.  Our dream to own a Ragdoll kitten and one day open a cattery has now become a possibility with retirement just around the corner. My husband and I raised two children who have found teaching and medicine to be their passions.  Now it is time for us to chase a new dream.

When Layla Joy joined our family in December of 2014, she became a sister to a tuxedo rescue cat, Boston, and two dogs, Snickers and Patches. Layla enjoys snuggling up with her brother and our elderly dogs. Her playful spirit and kind nature have added much joy to our family.  You can join or like our Facebook page by visiting "Briannah Ragdolls" where you can see more pictures and videos of Layla and her kittens!

When Layla had her second litter of kittens, we decided to keep a kitten and named her Holly Lane (Lanie) as I had recently retired from 31 years of teaching elementary students at Holly Lane.  Lanie is now ready to have kittens of her own.  She is a Seal Mitted Ragdoll with a sweet, fun-loving personality.  One of her favorite activities is playing with and napping next to  my 2 year old granddaughter, Elyssia Grace.  We look forward to the day we can announce that Lanie has been bred.  Stay tuned.....
