Introduction

I am a PhD candidate in Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. My PhD dissertation, due to be completed in 2017, is titled 'The course and character of late-Victorian British exports'. I research international trade, capital flows, and manufacturing in the late nineteenth century.

My sole-authored articles have been accepted for publication in the Economic History Review and the Australian Economic History Review.
