Broomfield High School Football Financial Obligations, Commitments, and Fundraising...

Any football program of the magnitude of Broomfield HS Football requires financial commitments from a variety of sources to

provide an outstanding experience for our players. We DO NOT ask any players to sell any products as a fundraiser! We do ask

for some assistance from players and families with other fundraising events throughout the year. The program utilizes the

BHS Touchdown Club as a resource to raise funds for the program and all funds go directly to one account...Broomfield High

School Football Fundraising. There are 3 tiers to our fundraising...

  1. Corporate & Community

This is a broad reach into the corporate world and community through the following events and opportunities...

a. Annual Golf Tournament. This annual event raises funds through corporate sponsor donations, player golf fees,

and day-of-event purchases and donations.

b. BHS Football Youth Camp. This annual community youth camp brings in close to 100 campers every summer

for some football and fun led by BHS Coaches & Players!

c. Team Schedule Poster. This poster is funded by corporate donations in return for a logo printed on the poster.

These schedule posters are then placed in community businesses as a way for the community to see the

team schedule and advertising for the corporate sponsorship. These posters are distributed through the

community by our players but they are NOT SOLD!!! If you have a business and would like to be part of

this project please email BHS Touchdown Club for more information.

  1. Extended Family & Friends

Through our annual Lift-a-thon we ask that players reach out to extended family and friends to donate per pound or

as a flat donation during our end-of-summer weightroom max testing event. We have seen great results by families

simply sending this out through a text thread or email to friends and family (Hey Joey has worked hard this summer and is

raising funds through his max testing, would you like to help?) and by taking the donation form to their workplace.

  1. Individual Family Commitment

Each family is asked to commit to the football program through the following fee and fund, the Broomfield High School

Participation Fee and the BHS Football Team Expense Fund. The school participation fee goes towards items such as

team transportation, game officials fees, annual helmet reconditioning, and some equipment purchases.

The BHS Football Team Expense Fund goes towards such items as...Team Meals, End-of-season Banquets-Coaches Gifts-

Senior Gifts, BHS Booster Gala Basket, New Uniform and Equipment Fund. The school participation fee of $185 is eligible to

be waived for those qualifying for free and reduced lunch, contact the athletic office for that process when registering. The

Team Expense Fund amount of $150 for freshmen and $200 for JV/Varsity can be found on the Football Revtrak page. In a

survey of other local football programs, Broomfield High School Football is one of the most economical programs around. We

are able to keep the Family Commitment tier below local average due to the commitment and hard work of players and

parents through Tier 1-Corporate & Community and Tier 2-Extended Family & Friends and we do this all WITHOUT

SELLING ANYTHING...YAY!!!

Thank you in advance for your support!

Go Eagles!
