The Bren Mar Recreation Association (BMRA) is a membership association.  Association memberships include full use of pool and facilities during the swimming season and year-round use of the tennis courts.

Membership privileges are extended to the primary member and those individuals who maintain residency.

The membership fee is $100.00 for new members. This is a non-refundable fee that is forfeited if annual dues payments are allowed to lapse, thus this fee will need to be repaid if there aren't consecutive years of membership.

The annual dues are currently $325.00.  If you are a new member you will be paying in total $425.00 for the first year.

Dues are pro-rated if you join after the start of the season as follows: July 1st = $225.00, or August 1st = $125.00, plus the $100 membership fee.

Each membership also includes a 6-visit guest passes added to your profile. Additional guest passes are available for $5 per guest per visit, or a 6-visit guest pass is available for $25.00. Please encourage local area friends to become members.  You may not bring the same guests multiple times in the season.

BMRA is no longer able accommodate large family memberships.

Member Definitions interpreted from the bylaws.

·         Membership is defined in the BMRA bylaws as: ‘A Class A Member, spouse, children, of the immediate household, providing each permanently resides with the Class A member.” This is interpreted as a full-time resident at the address of the membership in the database. No nanny, cousin, in-law, guest, etc. are considered part of this agreement. As such, each member is responsible for their membership profile the database.  BMRA does not accommodate sub-let renters in any capacity across all of the membership types.

·         It is BMRA’s requirement that the member provide first and last names of each person on their profile, (the term, guest, child, or wife is not acceptable), a valid email address, and an emergency contact. All of this is required for insurance purposes and to ensure the valid memberships of each person.  Failure to supply these elements will result in a delay of membership activation.

·         Fraudulent activity will result in membership suspension and/or denial of membership.
