I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and a former Senior Economist at the International Finance Division of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, DC. My research focuses on aspects of macroeconomics, international economics and finance, and labor economics. My PhD in Economics is from the University of Michigan, and my undergraduate degree is from Columbia University, where I majored in both Economics and Music (in addition to being an economist, I am a classical composer and former orchestra conductor).
