Bremhill Village Hall
is a pretty, listed building in the heart of the village of Bremhill near Calne. A former school, the hall is large enough to provide flexible accommodation for a range of activities. Competitive hourly rates (concessions for Bremhill parishioners and regular bookings). The hall is run by a small group of volunteers, you can find out more by clicking the button below.
Please download and read the terms and conditions before making a booking
The hall is well appointed with plenty of good quality tables and chairs, a full range of crockery and cutlery. There are accessible toilets and a small kitchen/bar. Skittles are also available for social events. We don't currently have WiFi but we have supplied this on odd occasions. We are installing the capability to show films.
Village Hall Events
The village hall is owned and managed by a charitable trust. The day to day management of the hall is organised by a group of local volunteers. This group organises (with the help of many others in the community) a series of events throughout the year to raise funds to support the upkeep of the hall. These include:
- Bonfire night party (5 November)
- Produce show (early September)
- Christmas Draw and social evening
If you are interested in helping out with any of our events or would like to join the committee, do contact us! If you would simply like to find out more about what we do, we hold an AGM which is open to the public. Do come along. Look out for posters in the village and notices in The Way.
The hall costs £10 per hour to hire. Time is given, free of charge, to set up and clear away (typically 30 minutes) so you only pay for the duration of your function. Please contact us for multiple bookings and for 'day' rates. Commercial bookings are by arrangement only, please email us.
All bookings are 'provisional' until advance payment has been made.
The hall is licensed but please contact us to check details if you intend to server alcohol.
