Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

10 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced

1 cup white sugar

1 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tsp ground cinnamon (I love cinnamon so I usually use about 2 tsp)

1/2 cup water


1 cup quick cooking oats (I use Quaker instant oatmeal)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup butter, melted


Directions;

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

- In a large bowl put in the sliced apples.

- In a another bowl mix together the sugar, flour and ground cinnamon.

- Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the apples.

- Place the Apple mixture into a 9 X 13 inch pan.

- In a large bowl combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder and melted butter together.

- Crumble the oat mixture evenly over the apples.

- Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
