Tim Butler is a writer of short, tall and long tales who lives and works in Worcester. He uses the profits from his thriving literary career to fund his hobby of commercial software development, and dreams of the day when he can give up writing altogether and concentrate fully on office life.

He is the award winning author of The Brunts School "Best Camp Diary", taking the title in Weymouth 1986 and The Isle of Mull in 1987. However, as so often happens with child prodigies, Tim fell subsequently into obscurity for many years and produced work sporadically while working on his first novel "Scenes of Mild Peril".
