Village Walk ~ The Packhorse Trail

Bratton Clovelly  Packhorse Trail 

The trail is about 3 miles and should take you around an hour to walk. Walking boots or Wellingtons are recommended, if the weather has been wet.  The trail is hilly in places.
Starting and ending in the Village ~ Refreshments are available at the Pub
 DOGS TO BE KEPT UNDER STRICT CONTROL (ie ON LEADS).

Bratton Clovelly ~ Ruby Ride No 4

Ruby Rides are a Horse Riding Initiative set up by West Devon
 
~ additional Rides can be found at http://www.ridetherubycountry.co.uk/ruby-country-rides/
This Ride is  12 miles from Roadford Lake to Bratton Clovelly and returning to the Lake,
using Road (4.8 miles) and Off Road Bridleways (7.2 miles)

This Ride is  7.6 miles from Bratton Clovelly to Boasley Cross and returning to the Village ,

Sadly, as yet, No Cycle Routes are mapped that take you through Bratton Clovelly ~ although this is in the process of being rectified

Ruby Country Cycle Routes can be found near us at  Ashwater and at Holsworthy

Roadford Lake
Roadford Lake can be found 2.5 miles from Bratton Clovelly
The Lake is in fact a Reservoir (the largest in the Southwest)
There is Camping, Sailing, Hi Ropes, Windsurfing, Kayaking, Indoor Climbing, Archery, Cycle Trails, Lakeside Walks and a Lakeside Cafe
