Collaborative Patterns

We collaborate as teachers and ask our students to collaborate with us.  Let's look at two patterns that Google Apps make easier - once you know how!
  • Collaborative Unit Planning
    • Developing instructional units in collaborative teams requires someone to take the lead to manage Documents, Resources, Communication, Milestones, Tasks and Issues. Google Apps can work wonderfully together to support efficient, just-in-time project management within a collaborative team, but there are complex steps to master. Bring a computer and sample project materials, and learn how to be an efficient "Project Lead" with Docs, Sites, Gmail, and Groups.

  • Collaborative Student Writing

Primary grades should skip the "Collaborative Student Writing" - that's only for students with Google accounts.  Instead, learn more about iPad Apps?
