Sylwia Katarzyna Krol

Biography

I completed my M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin in 2011. After my Masters, I have been working at Medical University of Lublin. Since August 2014 I am a part of the Laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology at Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS.


Research Interest:

I am interested in cancer research, especially in genetics, epigenetics and molecular biology of cancer and resistance for therapy.

The projects which I am involved in are focused on the role of epigenetic mechanisms in development and progression of human brain tumors, especially gliomas in in vitro model.


Professional Activities:

Member of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR).

Member of the Polish Biochemical Society.
