This is a NYC-wide, interdisciplinary graduate seminar in which students can present and discuss their work at the intersection of political psychology, social neuroscience, political science, sociology, economics, philosophy, and culture and media studies.
The idea is to create a friendly, informal and intellectually stimulating graduate student community in which interdisciplinary work on the human brain, politics and society can find a platform. Work-in-progress papers (e.g. dissertation chapter drafts, research proposals etc.) are especially welcome.
Seminars will be held bi-weekly at Columbia University in the 2014-15 fall and spring semester. Post-docs and (with exceptions) advanced undergraduates are welcome too.
We usually meet Fridays from 2-4pm, in Hamilton 707 on Columbia University's Morningside Campus (116th St/Broadway).
