Highlights of 2024 field meetings

Graham had suggested it would be useful to have a slide show to look back on highlights of the year’s field meetings, so I made this collection of about 100 photographs throughout the course of the year, labelling them with the date and location. The meeting was attended by 13 members in Shipley with another 4 online. Ian set the slide show to run with 15 seconds per photograph, but could pause where people wanted to discuss any of the photographs as we went along. It was good to see how many interesting sites the group had visited and the colourful orchids seen on the holiday to Kent were particularly appreciated. It seems I should have included even more photographs as 100 wasn’t enough! At least we had a good amount of time at the end of the evening to chat among ourselves over a cuppa and biscuits.
