We had a good day seeing the alpine and spring flowers of Ingleborough. Here are some photos of our finds:
Mossy Saxifrage (Saxifraga hypnoides)
Bird's-eye Primrose (Primula farinosa) with Early-purple Orchid (Orchis mascula)
Mountain Everlasting (Antennaria dioica) - these are the female flowers showing the forked stigmas

Yorkshire Sandwort (aka English Sandwort, Arenaria norvegica ssp. anglica). Note the anthers are white, not violet as in Spring Sandwort (Sabulina verna)
