About Me

I am a professor at the College of Electronic and Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China.  Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral associate at the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, working with Prof. Walid Saad, from Jan. 2018 to July 2021. I obtained my PhD at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2017. My PhD supervisor is Prof. Meixia Tao. I was also working closely with Prof. Ying Cui. Prior to SJTU, I obtained my B.E. degree in electronic engineering from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2011.

My research interests include the age of information (AoI), spectrum sensing, stochastic network optimization, queueing systems, Markov decision processes (MDP) and the applications to communication networks, the Internet of things (IoT), and Machine learning. A brief introduction to the research during my PhD can be found here
