I am a lecturer in Asian Studies at the University of Texas, Austin. I earned a Ph.D in Linguistics at UC San Diego in Summer 2015.
-My research interests lie primarily in syntax and language acquisition. (click Research to read more about my research.)
-My dissertation, titled Sensitivity to Islands in Korean-English Bilinguals, scrutinizes Poverty of the Stimulus effects in bilinguals’ acquisition of island phenomena in their two languages (i.e. heritage Korean and L2 English), by employing various online and offline methodologies.
-My dissertation committee members are: Grant Goodall (advisor), Robert Kluender, John Moore, Maria Polinsky (Harvard University), and Victor S. Ferreira.
