What is Spring Banquet?

Our Spring Banquet is a yearly fundraiser for BCS that is the biggest fundraiser of the year. We have a speaker who comes and gives a keynote address and a wonderfully catered meal. Businesses and individuals buy seats or tables (each seating 10) for themselves and their friends to enjoy a special night out. It is also a time when we can highlight some of the school’s successes and share with our community what we are about.

This year, Mike Keith (voice of the Titans) will be joining us for our banquet on March 30^th in the BCS Gymnasium and Gondola will be catering the meal. The event will begin with a meet and greet session and appetizers with Mike Keith at 6:00. Dinner will begin at 7:00 followed by the keynote address from Mr. Keith and a brief auction of donated items to benefit the school. Erin Cantrell will also be addressing the audience on behalf of our student body as this year’s valedictorian and Miss BCS.

Why is it Important?

Tuition only pays a fraction of what it takes to run the school and we continually try to keep tuition as low as possible so that more families can benefit from BCS. Because of that, we have to rely heavily on donations and successful fundraisers to pay the salaries, bills, and day-to-day expenses of running the school. The end of the year is always crunch time and we make a big push with the banquet to acquire the funds we need for the school to continue to thrive.

How Can I Help?

While we would love for you to join us at the banquet, we understand everyone will not be able to come that night. Still, we need your help in many ways to make this night a success!

• • Set up will take place Tuesday night and Wednesday during the day. We will need people to move and set up tables and chairs, steam table cloths, set out decorations, etc.

  • We need items donated from local businesses and individuals for auction items.

  • The PTF will be providing the appetizes and setting up the meet and greet portion. If you would like to help with this, please contact Diana Christian or Victoria Foust

  • Most importantly, to make this night a success, we need you to spread the word! There are flyers in the office you may pick up and share with anyone who might be interested. Speak to business you have a connection with, your church, and your friends about buying tickets to support the school. Whether they can buy tickets, donate money to help sponsor the food, or donate auction items, they can write it off on their taxes and be recognized for supporting BCS at the same time. Tickets are on sale now in the school office.
