A Message from Mrs. Akers

posted Apr 22, 2019, 2:26 PM by Jessica Akers

I would like to announce that I will be stepping down as principal of Boyd Christian School at the end of the year.  I have been so blessed to serve in this role and am truly thankful for each and everyone of you who are a part of this school family.  My family and I love BCS tremendously and will remain here as full time supporters of this amazing Board of Directors, faculty, and staff.  Please help us spread the word and keep the school in your prayers during this transition. The Board of Directors is now taking applications from anyone who would be interested in this role.  You may call the office or email Gary Hancock at gjem@dtccom.net.

As high school basketball season winds down, we are so proud of our Broncos and Lady Broncos on a wonderful season.  They have put in a great amount of pride, determination, and hard work to make this season what it was.  A special thanks to Coaches Brent Warren and Ryan Mason for all the time they spent so that our students could play ball! We will especially miss our Senior players Lane Jones and Candace Woodruff and wish all our players a restful off season!

We need volunteers to help roll ice cream at ballgames and functions.
This can be used for Service Hours for Boyd or TN Promise.  The only problem is, it is a learning process and it takes practice.  Mrs. Teresa will be showing and practicing with anyone interested in the gym this Monday night (Nov. 19th) at 6:00.  If you would be interested in helping, but cannot come Monday, let us know!!
