Travel in Bourbon Country

Lexington and Louisville form the east and west boundaries of Kentucky's Bourbon Country. Both cities offer good airports and numerous lodging, dining, and entertainment options.
Frankfort, Bardstown, and Lawrenceburg are the larger towns outside of Lexington and Louisville. They offer some hotel options, and several good local dining experiences. Several smaller towns, such as Midway, Versailles, and Harrodsburg offer some interesting dining, shopping, and other attractions.

TripAdvisor is a good source for Louisville Tourism information.
