About Me

Who Am I?

I am an associate professor (Maître de Conférences) working at INSA de Lyon, MATEIS laboratory.

From my PhD thesis at the french atomic energy commission (CEA), I have been working on innovative powder metallurgy processing routes to manufacture high-performance materials. My research focuses on additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy processes to develop architectured materials, an emerging class of materials that combine structural and functional properties through specific structures (porosity, honeycomb structure, composition gradient, etc).

In my research group, we characterize these objects from the structure to the microstructure thanks to 3D X-ray tomography, electron microscopy, EBSD, and we try to understand their behavior thanks to ex situ and in situ mechanical testing (tensile, compressive or fatigue tests).
