Mission:

Why BASEC? Why Boulder?

The mission of the Boulder Area STEM Education Coalition is to facilitate communication and collaboration among businesses, government, education, community groups, and the media. We seek to mobilize, synthesize, and support the efforts of these local stakeholders, to empower Boulder County residents and to promote diversity and equality, by improving quality and expanding access to STEM education and through informing local and state policy and by enhancing our communications effort.

Investment in STEM Education will lead to better quality of life, support an informed citizenry, create more and better jobs, and continue to support Boulder County as a national leader in education, science, mathematics, technology and engineering.

BASEC is an official center of the Colorado STEM Network
