Metro Boston Green On-the-Job Training Collaborative

(Metro Boston GOJT)

Welcome to the Metro Boston GOJT website.  The purpose of this site is to assist in the implementation of the GOJT Program as it seeks to build pathways for Metro Boston residents into full-time, permanent employment with Massachusetts Clean Energy companies.

GOJT is a project of Green Jobs Boston and it is funded with a 2011 Pathways Out of Poverty grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. The Collaborative seeks to create a win-win for both job seekers and clean energy employers by subsidizing the costs employers incur when they hire and train new staff.  Employers receiving the subsidy have more of the resources they need to invest in their clean energy business, eligible participants are provided with a competitive advantage in the hiring market and the benefit of on-the-job training.

For more information about the initiative, or to get involved, select one of the links, or check out the attachments below (the Flyer For Employers and the GOJT Implementation Guide)
