How to disable Norton
 

To turn off Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall:
 
1.Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.

 (you can open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall by clicking the icon on system tray or the associated shortcut on the desktop.)

2.Click Options > Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.

3.If the Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall Options window opens, click Cancel.

4.In the System Status window, click Security.
Click Turn Off in the right column.

If you can access the Internet after turning off Security then a setting in Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall may be blocking your connection to the Internet.
 


To disable the drivers from Norton products in Device manager:

1.On the Microsoft® Windows® desktop, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
In the System Properties dialog box, on the Hardware tab, under Device Manager, click Device Manager.

2.In the Device Manager window, on the View menu, click Show hidden devices.
Expand Non-Plug and Play Drivers.

3. Under Non plug and play drivers, all the entries starting with 'Nav' and 'Sym' must be disabled . (If you have 'Symantec antivirus' instead of 'Norton Antivirus', you may notice some entries starting with 'SAV', then those should be disabled as well)
 
 To disable a driver,right-click the name of the drivers ,and then click Properties.
On the General tab, on the Device usage drop-down list, click Do not use this device (disable).
Click OK.
At the next prompt, click No
