Cause:

WGA validation failures can be caused by Internet connectivity issues as well as any normal causes for WGA validation.

     Step1:

Verify Internet connectivity before proceeding. WGA validation requires a working internet connection to the internet.

Uninstall the Windows Genuine Advantage Tool using the following steps:

a)      Open the %windir%\Downloaded Program Files folder

b)      Locate the Windows Genuine Advantage Tool, right click it and select Remove

c)      Reboot the computer

Step 2:

Go to Windows update and the site should prompt you to install the WGA Validation tool. Install it and reboot if prompted.

If you rebooted after reinstalling the Validation Tool, go back to the site and check for updates to perform validation.

Try to install the Internet explorer 7 again.
