The Border Tire Network’s discussion board is for you to discuss environmental subjects that interest you. This is an experiment; we haven't before had a means to allow people to engage each other in such an open forum.
We expect conversations to follow the conventions of polite discourse. There is no requirement to support what EPA or SEMARNAT does or to agree with everything someone says. Using the same approach as our blog's comment policy (http://blog.epa.gov/blog/comment-policy), however, we will delete comments that:
* contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups
* promote services or products (non-commercial links that are relevant are acceptable)
* are far off-topic (unrelated to the environment)
* make unsupported accusations.
Reporters are asked to send questions to the EPA Newsroom (http://www.epa.gov/newsroom/contact-us.htm) through their normal channels and to refrain from submitting questions here as comments.
Thank you for taking the time to read this comment policy. We encourage your participation in our discussion and look forward to an active exchange of ideas.
