The Bombay Psychologist is the official Bi-annual journal published by the BPA with the no. ISSN 0975-0738. . It has now completed 18 years. It has a membership of 600 subscribers.

 About journal

The first “BOMBAY PSYCHOLOGIST” journal was published on 28th October, 1978 and its first editor was Dr. M.D GHORPADE. It has now completed 18 years. It has a membership of 600 subscribers. The journal has been on the U.G.C list of recognized psychology journals. Its articles and abstracts are regularly documented since 1982. Many eminent Indian as well as some internationally known psychologists have contributed their articles to the journal. To encourage research and dissemination of the knowledge of psychology in Indian languages “Bombay Psychologists” now publishes research papers and articles in Marathi, Gujarati and Hindi. The journal is being published bi-annually in March/April and October/November each year. The journal articles include:

Instruction to authors

Submission requirements:  authors are requested to submit their papers, in duplicate,  typed throughout in double spacing on one side of the bond paper leaving wide margins. The full length paper, in no case should exceed 10 pages. The manuscript would be considered for publication on the understanding that it has neither been published anywhere, nor has been submitted for publication elsewhere. The journal holds the copyright of the papers published in it. All manuscripts should be submitted to the editor in chief,

Title page: the title should be as concise as possible and should appear on a separate sheet together with the name(s) of the author(s) and the full postal address of their institution(s). A short running title of not more than 30 characters should be indicated if the full title is longer than this.

Abstract: An abstract of 100-200 words should follow the title page on a separate sheet.

Heading: Headings and sub- headings for different sections of the papers should be clearly indicated.

Quotation: A direct quotation, regardless of length, must be accompanied by reference citation with page numbers.
