Shotokan Karate of America

Welcome to the Boise State University Dojo of Shotokan Karate of America. Shotokan Karate of America (SKA) is a non-profit organization teaching traditional Karate in the United States since 1955. SKA has more than 120 dojos in North America, and is affiliated with national Shotokan organizations in thirteen countries, including Canada, France, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Japan.

SKA is dedicated to teaching Karate in the traditional Japanese manner. We welcome adult students of any age. Class structure allows for the admittance of new adult students at any time of the year. 

The Boise State University dojo is located at the:

Schedule Updates:

Fall Grading...2015...( TBD)

We would like to invite club members, who would like to have their
ranks move up, to participate in the Fall 2015 belt ranking test. In
order to grade, your SKA membership must be current, which can be
paid on the day of the grading. Those who will be graded, please 
arrive at the dojo 30 minutes before the announced time frame to 
help setup the dojo, etc. Note: more information to follow.
