    • Absences longer than 1 - day: See student handbook.

  • Extended Absences and Family Vacations:

    • Extended absences create gaps in student understanding of material. It is best to avoid extended absences when possible.

    • When a student is absent and able, they should (daily) check Jupiter Grades, Google Classroom and Delta (and other platforms) to see what was done on that day.

    • Students should attempt and complete all work possible.

    • When work is confusing or not understood, students should plan a time after they return with the teacher to go over the concepts.

    • It is expected that students will do all missed work in a timely fashion.
