4th BMS Student Conference (February 17-19, 2016) The 4th annual BMS Student Conference took place from February 17th-19th, 2016 at the Technical University Berlin. Aims and scope: The objectives of the Student Conference are to give prospective and current students a deeper look into the mathematical landscape in Berlin by learning about other students' projects, and also to provide students with the opportunity to practice giving talks in a relaxed conference atmosphere. Invited Speakers: Prof. Dr. Christian Liedtke (Technische Universität München)Prof. Dr.Peter Imkeller (Humboldt Universität Berlin) Social events: On Wednesday afternoon we had a guided tour at the Traenenpalast ("Palace of tears"), next to Friedrichstraße Bahnhof. The tour took participants through a checkpoint linking former east and west Germany. The annual Wine and Cheese evening also took place in the BMS lounge on Thursday February 18.
