ABOUT US

Formed by Capital District Business and Marketing Educators in 1989, this organization is comprised of a group of passionate business teachers throughout a thirteen-county region who are working to improve business education. We work each year to  keep members informed of changes taking place in business education throughout New York State. We also advocate and promote the importance of business education in New York State public school districts.

Each school year BMEA plans a fall area professional development conference and sponsors the Outstanding Business Education Student Award Dinner. Our association’s goal is be a resource for our business teacher members, their students and school districts.
