Welcome to the 4th editon of the Blyth Valley Focus. A new communication tool to advise and inform all members and supporters of Blyth Valley. Happy new year to you all.

Gangshow 29th Oct—2nd Nov. 2013
What a fantastic success. A real achievement for the cast and crew, old and new, and a great piece of PR for Blyth Valley and Scouting in general.
District Leader Changes
Kelly Reay is moving away form the area for new adventures on the Isle of Wight. Best wishes to her. Robbie Leese is stepping down as ADC (Cubs). Thanks to
him for his efforts in this section. Mariliyn Grimshaw will be appointed District Cub Scout leader. Stuart Griffin, Jonathon Finlay and Dave Mason will be appointed District Scout Leaders.
Census & Membership
All groups should have received their codes to enter the census figures as at 31st January 2014. This years membership fee has been set at £37 with a rebate of £2, assuming all groups pay on time.
