Private lessons One-on-one instruction with a qualified professional on your specific instrument reinforces, strengthens and supplements techniques and concepts taught during the school day.  Studying privately can open doors of opportunity for you at BHS and outside of school.  Being a part of a professional's private studio is just like working with a "special teams" coach ; honing skills that are specific to only the violin, viola, cello, or bass.
There are a couple of reasons students and parents choose private lessons:
- Less often reason: Tutoring to bring you up to class expectation
- More often reason: Working above and beyond class expectations to prepare for region/youth/all-state orchestra, solo & ensemble contest, or college scholarship auditions.
Below is an alphabetical list of local, qualified teachers that I highly recommend.
