Perception for Action

Visual Illusions and Movements.

This research is in collaboration with Prof. Thomas Papathomas, Jillian Nguyen (graduate student from Neuroscience), Jay Ravaliya (undergraduate student from Biomedical Engineering). We owe our set up to Tom Grace from the Psychology Department.

This project will investigate the cross roads between perception and action in cases when movements are intended vs. when they are spontaneous. We will use various visual illusions from Prof. Papathomas' Lab related to the reverspective and the hollow mask illusions. These videos are from the website of the British artist Patrick Hughes.
