Cloudy morning at Ogmore Beach
A rock pool near the estuary of the River Ogmore. Met up with friend and fellow flickrite wiffsmiff23 at 6.00am for a Sunday morning photoshoot. We struggled for one and a half hours with indifferent and dull lighting conditions. Later, a brief 10 minute spell of sun created some interesting light on these rocks. This is taken with the 14mmL lens on my Canon 5D and I'm really close to that rock kneeling on a wet rock in a few inches of water. The rock in the foreground stands only about twelve inches above the waterline! Note added 30/06/08. I'm a little overwhelmed by the surge of activity on this photo, the file was two stops underexposed to retain detail in the sky, no filters, but a lot of Photoshop tweaking - and to think, I nearly binned it!
Took this last month at Ruby Beach. Finally got a bit of a sunset. And yes, this was the actual sky :) sorry Greg oh, this happened Sunday night after you left to meet our girl Lynn. I know this shot could use a little lightening on the left but i was too tired to complete the task and my pool boy was off tonight. Will be offline for awhile. Hope you all have a fabulous week. Thanks for stopping by :)
