Kim Anning has been a part of the West Australian jazz scene for many years. Kim has performed with many interstate and international artists during his career as well as playing in many different local bands.  He was a member of J.T. and the Jazzmen in the late Seventies and solo guitarist, 5 nights per week at Ruby’s restaurant for ten years. He teaches guitar at private schools and does freelance work with various bands and duos as well as leading his own ensembles for special projects at Jazz Clubs. Kim is influenced by many great guitarists including Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Christian, Django Reinhardt, Pat Metheny and John Scofield.
