Boston Rock Band Classic Spaceship T-Shirt, S
Boston's debut album was an enormous success when it was released in 1976, and revived mainstream rock's popularity at a time when disco was beginning to dominate radio airplay. Their first record ranks as the best-selling debut album in U.S. history, with over 17 million copies sold, a rank it still holds. Celebrate the incredible music of this iconic group and their hits Don't Look Back, Long Time (now available on XBox, and Playstation's 'Rock Band'), More Than A Feeling (featured on PS2's Guitar Hero), and Peace Of Mind, a track on Guitar Hero 3's 'Legends Of Rock', with this cool shirt. A great gift for the Boston fan, an awesome way to show the world that you rock!

So the Rogue Players theme is "My Love Affair with Music". How can I not play along? Anybody who has been reading my descriptions should know I'm pretty passionate about music. I listen to music almost all day, every day. I listen while I drive, while I work, while I photograph, while I process photos, while I play games, etc... If there is no audio requirement to my activity I add my own. My musical tastes are vast. There are artists I like from almost all genres of music. The bulk of my taste does tend towards rock but I'm not shy about expanding beyond that. Music was always a big part of my life. I was very much into the pop charts when I was very young. Then I revolted against "pop" music and became more of a classic rock fan. Sometime in the early 90s some of the new bands got me interested in exploring beyond classic rock. It was like a flood gate. Once I followed one artist to a new genre I was curious about other bands I had been missing out on, so I'd look at othes. Many would not interest me of course, but many more would. This would repeat over and over for many genres or styles until we get to where I am now. I now listen to music of almost any genre you can think of. That doesn't mean I like every artist, but I do like some artists of almost any genre. For some reason Jazz and Rap are two genres that still do not appeal to me much though. When I first turned drinking age I started going to clubs but unlike a lot of young people my purpose was the live music. I kind of fell out of the habit of going to live music. I ran out of friends who wanted to go and what fun is it to go alone? I'm pretty happy that TheLadyMargaret seems to have caught the bug. She too is enjoying going out to live music, and what's even better is her musical tastes have grown dramatically as well. So for this shot, there is a subset of my vast CD collection behind me. I'm wearing the t-shirt for the Drive-By Truckers newest CD, and I'm holding 15+ concert tickets for upcoming shows we are planning to go to. Our planned concerts for the next little while: Dragonette Matthew Good Grady Hedley/Boys Like Girls/Stereos/Fefe Dobson Nickelback/Shinedown/Breaking Benjamin Crash Karma Hawksley Workman Peter Gabriel Them Crooked Vultures Simon & Garfunkel George Thorogood & The Destroyers/JJ Grey & Mofro Dala/Madison Violet Big Music Fest (ZZ Top, Collective Soul, Finger Eleven, Big Sugar, Gord Downie) Bluesfest 2010 Lilith Fair Sting Black Eyed Peas Tom Petty/Crosby, Stills & Nash Our range for live concerts besides home is Toronto, Montreal, Vermont, Northern NY. Anybody in range?
