"Congratulations!" . . . to youth member Levi Stephenson on his new Morgan, Playboy's Desperado, a 6-year old Western Pleasure gelding.  Levi's new horse resides at Royal Acres Farm in Eminence, KY.  Best of luck to you both!

KMHA Elects New President
At its annual meeting on April 16, 2011, the Kentucky Morgan Horse Association elected a new president . . . Linda Hall.  Congratulations, Linda!   And, special thanks to Judi Kemper, their out-going president, for all of her years of hard work; dedication to and love of the Morgan horse.

The Kentucky Equine Humane Center All Breed Charity Horse Show will be held Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Ballyhigh Show Stable located at 320 Pinckard Pike, Versailles.  More information, including show bill and entry forms, may be obtained on the KyEHC website at:
The 5th Annual Three Phase Event will be held on May 21-22, 2011 at historic Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, 3501 Lexington Road, Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The Three Phase Event, for all breeds of gaited horses and non-jumping trotting horses, is an equine versatility event for seasoned trail and show horses that demonstrate their versatility in dressage, a set stadium obstacle course challenge and a 3 to 10 mile cross country trail course which demands stamina and willingness to meet field challenges for the beginner novice, novice and training level division riders. Each division is broken down into youth ages 12 to 17, and adults 18 and above.  Wouldn't this be a great place to share the talents of your Morgan . . . either single-foot or trotting?  For more information, visit
