The Frog that swallowed the Cosmos

posted 26 Nov 2009, 22:18 by Karl Doyle   [ updated 26 Nov 2009, 22:24 ]

Blue Culture Arts Organization (Co. Ltd.) is proud to announce that it's first artistic collaboration with Douglarized Nation Productions will culminate with the World Premier of the animation, The Frog that swallowed the Cosmos

The short film is director/producer Zia Holder's first foray into animation, and it is completed in the style of magical realism, as is the tradition of folklore in the West Indies. It follows the vibrant, and often visually explosive color theory of Caribbean art and style.

Come join us for the premier of the animated film, "The Frog That Swallowed the Cosmos" at Drink Wine Bar in Woodbrook. It is a tale which delves into the moment when a young West Indian girl, after meeting a wily frog one moon-lit night, decides to take her own fate into her hands...
