R.I.S.E. (Reaching Individuals Seeking Education) Preschool Program

 
Who: Typically developing peers who will be three or four on or before September 1st. Children must reside in the Blount County School zone or be a child of an employee of the Blount County Schools. Priority will be given to children of employees. Typically developing peers MUST BE FULLY POTTY TRAINED in order to attend. 
 
What: Inclusive preschool program with emphasis on teaching children how to learn and what to learn in order to facilitate their development and transition to kindergarten.
 
When: From 7:40 AM - 3:00 PM during the Blount County School's calendar days.
 
Where: Blount County Learning Center189 Horton Lane, Cleveland, Alabama 35049, 205-274-0503
or         Hayden Primary, 160 Bracken Lane, Hayden, Alabama 35079, 205-647-2103
 
Why: To provide an inclusive program for children with disabilities and typically developing children.
 
How Much: $50 per week. Students may bring or buy breakfast and/or lunch. Students are responsible for their own snacks.
