Meanwhile, booka shade's own redefinition of dance music found its expression on their debut album, memento which drew on their back ground as pop producers and their ability to sculpt nocturnal yet melancholic music for the dance floor and beyond. Booka Shade - Movements
Second album from duo Arno & Walter titled ‘Movements’. Released in April, it maintained Arno and Walter’s love of soaring basslines, epic melodies and club-friendly arrangements, but it also showed that they were not afraid to experiment with other styles, like slow motion hip-hop, electro and chilled Balearic house music.

‘Movements’ is a varied and mature work that shows that Booka Shade still know how to write emotive, powerful dance tracks. It’s not just club DJs who have picked on their material: Booka Shade’s music features regularly in the top 5 genre charts on iTunes all over the world.

If you know me, you know that I'm a bit of an oddity in that I love my electronic music, but tend to stick to shit with lyrics. Every once in a while though I make expections for the exceptional. And this album is def. one of them. A little bit world a little bit chill out... I actually think an excellent pairing for a show would be these dudes followed by Dj Shadow (but DJ Shadow from like 1999, you know, when he didnt suck.

Movements That Change the World: Five Keys to Spreading the Gospel
When Jesus commissioned his followers, he was not just inaugurating the historical church, he was founding a missionary movement.Originally released by Missional Press and now revised and expanded to include a multi-session discussion guide, Steve Addison's Movements That Change the World draws from biblical, historical and contemporary case studies to isolate the essential elements of a dynamic missionary movement. The church fulfills its mission today to the extent that it honors these essential elements, modelled perfectly in Jesus’ missionary enterprise:
white-hot faith
commitment to the cause
contagious relationships
rapid mobilization
adaptive methods
Throughout the ages Jesus' followers have been called to continue his movement in the power of the Holy Spirit. Like many such movements, it changed the world. Unlike most movements, which have their historical moment and then fade away, Christianity is actively, continually changing the world for the better.
